Last updated 2026. The service providers that help us deliver Lucy.
How we use subprocessors
To run Lucy we rely on a small number of service providers. Each one only receives the data it needs to perform its part of the service, and each is bound by its own contractual terms with us.
The categories below describe what those providers do. If you need the current named list for a vendor review, email us and we will send it.
Hosting, database and storage
Runs the application, stores your account, site, article and metrics data, and holds images generated for your articles.
AI model providers
Used to research topics, draft and review articles, and score quality. They receive the briefs, source material and drafts needed to produce your output.
Search and crawl data providers
Supply keyword, ranking and competitor data, and receive the domains and keywords you ask us to track. Where you connect Search Console, that data comes from your own account with your authorisation.
Publishing and indexing endpoints
Your own CMS, webhook or site receives finished articles. Search engine indexing endpoints receive the URLs of pages you publish.
Email and payments
Transactional email delivery for account notifications, and a payment provider that handles subscription billing. We do not store your full card details.
Changes
We update this page when we add or replace a provider category. If you have a written agreement with us that requires advance notice of subprocessor changes, we will follow that agreement.
